About the Course
This equality and diversity training course is ideal for people working in a large range of working environments, especially those where staff are required to deal with the general public. This course encourages participants to take an active role within their workplace in reducing, and ultimately eliminating, discrimination.
The course will give an overview of the key points and statutory requirements under the following acts of parliament: the Human Rights Act 1998, the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, the Equal Pay Act 1970, the Race Relations Act 1976 and the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000.
Both public sector and voluntary sector employees need to be aware of and understand the nature of equality and diversity within their workplace.
